Thiruvananthapuram | V.S. Achuthanandan has alleged that Vigilance Director N. Sankar Reddy’s recommendation to conduct crime branch inquiry against SP Sukesan, who is the investigating officer of bar bribery case, is part of conspiracy.

By making such a recommendation, Sankar Reddy has proved once again that he is the obedient servant of UDF leaders, V.S. said in a statement.

He alleged that the government is trying to divert people’s attention from orders and remarks by various judicial commissions and courts against it.

He stated that it’s a shame for the state that the Vigilance Director is acting according to the whims and fancies of certain UDF leaders. Sankar Reddy’s action is a pointer to the reason why deserving police officers in DGP rank are not appointed to the post of Vigilance Director, according to V.S.

He demanded an inquiry against Sankar Reddy.
