Alappuzha | Bharat Dharmajanasena says it will not contest the upcoming Assembly elections in Kerala as part of a BJP-led political front. But at the same time, the party plans to take advantage by making seat adjustments with BJP, BDJS leader Vellappaly Natesan told a private news channel.
BDJS is trying to make seat adjustments in 20 Assembly seats, where the party estimates a chance to win, according to Vellappilly.
The SNDP Yogam General Secretary made it clear that neither he, nor his son Thushar Vellappilly, will contest the election.
BDJS has already begun preparations in view of the election. The party is now focusing on membership campaign in all constituencies. Vellappally said BDJS’ entry into the election arena holding hands with JP is going to create concern among the LDF and UDF camps.
