Kollam | Bharat Dharmajanasena has indicated a change of attitude regarding its policy on political alliance ahead of the Assembly elections.
Talking to media Wednesday, BDJS leader Vellappaly Natesan said that the new political outfit does not have untouchability with any party.
“The days of principles-based politics are over. Now it’s more practical to adopt a line of opportunistic politics and slogans,” he told reporters in Kollam.
The SNDP Yogam General Secretary said he held talks with LDF and UDF leaders.
Vellappally said Tuesday that Bharat Dharmajanasena will not contest the upcoming Assembly elections as part of a BJP-led political front. But at the same time, the party plans to take advantage by making seat adjustments with BJP, he told a private news channel.
