Kochi: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Friday held discussions with Advocate General KP Dandapani here in the wake of set back from the court in Lavlin case and Palmolein case.

The Chief Minister, who was supposed to go to Aluva palace Friday morning, met with the Advocate General at Ernakulam Guest House. The meeting lasted for an hour.

The Kerala High Court on Thursday had postponed the hearing on the revision petition filed by CBI against the acquittal of Pinarayi Vijayan in the Lavlin case saying that it need not be considered urgently.

Also, a remark by the vigilance court in Thrissur the other day on Palmolein case had put the Kerala government under pressure. The court said that officials cannot be charged as guilty in the palmolein deal as it was Oomen Chandy who signed the concerned file as Finance Minister.
