Thiruvananthapuram: Dulquer Salmaan has won the Kerala State’s Best Actor award for his performance in the movie Charlie.
Parvathy Nair won the Best Actress award for her role as Kanchana in “Ennu Ninte Moideen,” and acting in Charlie.
Ozhivu Divasathe Kali, directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan, was adjudged the Best Film.
The Kerala State Film Awards 2015 was announced by Cultural Affairs minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan at a news conference in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. The jury, chaired by director Mohan, viewed 73 films that were screened for awards.
P.Jayachandran won the award for Best male singer for songs Njanoru Malayali (Jilebi), Malarvaakakombathe (Ennum Eppozhum) and Sharadambaram (Ennu Ninte Moideen).
Madhusree Narayan is the Best female singer. Song: Paswathi Dishi Dishi (Edavapathi).
