Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala government will amend the controversial order giving permission to POABS Group to remit land tax for its Karuna Estate in Nelliyampathi.
A Cabinet meeting has decided to issue a new order without repealing the original one, based on advice by Advocate General. It says that POABS can remit tax subject to permission from the court.
KPCC President V.M. Sudheeran had come out against the government move to regularize the ownership of Karuna Estate, which is said to be government-owned land.
