Kochi | Young film artist Jishnu Raghavan, who succumbed to cancer, was laid to rest at Ravipuram Crematorium here Friday.
Prominent film personalities were among those who attended the cremation.
The son of famous Malayalam film actor Raghavan, Jishnu died at a private hospital here Friday morning.
Jishnu was diagnosed with larynx cancer more than two years ago, and it spread to lungs later.
Hailing from Kannoor, Jishnu made his film debut as a child artist in the movie Kilipatt in 1987. After a long gap, he did a lead role in Nammal.
He had acted in around 20 films, which include Nidra, Ustad Hotel, Banking Hours 10 to 4, Annum Innum Ennum and Rebbecca Uthup Kizhakemala, Traffic, Choonda, Valatthottu Thirinjaal Naalaamathe Veedu, Freedom, Nerariyaan CBI, Pouran, Chakkaramuth, Yugapurushan, Ordinary and Njaan.
Jishnu, 35, is survived by wife Dhanya Rajan, who is an architect by profession.
