New Delhi | Award-winning Pakistani author Sabyn Javeri will come out two books related to women in the Muslim world one a dark political thriller tracking the court trial of an assassination and the other a collection of short stories. Both the books will be published by HarperCollins India.
Nobody Killed Her, to be released in January 2017, tracks the court trial following the assassination of a woman leader. Sabyn says she is thrilled to be publishing under the Fourth Estate imprint.
The book ‘Nobody Killed Her’ has found the perfect home at Harper, the Pakistan-born writer who lives between London and Karachi says. Sabyn recently won the Oxonion Review Short Story Award and was shortlisted for the Tibor Jones Award. Sabyn’s is a very smart, refreshing voice.
The novel can be read at one sitting and is definitely going to be the most exciting debut of 2017, and with the collection of stories that is to follow soon, she will firmly establish herself as a name to reckon with in the literary world, says publisher Minakshi Thakur.
