Thiruvananthapuram | Power Minister Kadakampilly Surendran has said that an outage management system will be introduced in the Kerala State Electricity Board that will inform consumers about possible power cut and disruption in power supply through SMS, online portal and mobile app in advance.
A mobile application for online bill payment will be introduced shortly, he said at a news conference here Tuesday.
The Board will start accepting online application for power connection.
Pending power projects will be revived.
50 MW solar power will be generated in Kasargod.
The Government will take action to make KSEB consumer-friendly, he told reporters.
