New Delhi | Supreme Court has rejected an appeal by the Kerala Government challenging High Court order to close down A.U.L.P. school in Malapparamb, Kozhikode.
A division bench headed by Justice PC Ghosh said that the state government had enough time to transfer 60 students of the school to other schools after the High Court order in October 2015.
Supreme Court urged the State Government to implement the High Court order, which calls for closing down the School by June 8, and submit a report after completing necessary procedures for the closure.
Rejecting the State Government’s appeal, the apex court said the Malapparamb school management has followed all guidelines for closure.
