Punarjani comes as helping hand

Kozhikkodu | Legal Service Authority Secretary , Sub judge R.L.Baiju has said that it needs to obey the traffic rules, which help to control road accidents occuring and increasing day by day in Kerala roads. He was inaugurating the Punarjani-wheel chair distribution and awareness seminar in Kozhikkodu Town Hall conducted by Metro Vaartha in corporation with Kozhikkodu City Traffic Police, Aster Mims and Angels.

He told that it is our duty to rehabilitate those who are wounded and got bed ridden by road accidents. Young generation should come forward to give the prime attention and aid to those who met with accidents.

Crime Branch Dysp Abdul Rasakh chaired the meeting. As the result of the number of vehicles are increased and the space of the existing roads are decreased, lots of accidents are occuring in the state. Only with the help of the awareness programmes like Punarjani, we have to pass the message to the people on this particular matter.

“Metro Vaartha wishes to continue Punarjani as a very serious matter”, Metro Vaartha Chief Editor R.Gopikrishnan said. “Within three months, the continuity programme of Punarjani will be conducted in Perinthalmanna. It is the responsibility of a News Paper to decrease the road accidents by traffic awareness”, he added.

Dr.Manoj Kooloor, Executive directors of Angels, Binoy, Finance director K.P.Musthafa, Dubai Gold Chairman Muhammed Haji, Aster Mims Senior Manager Ajeesh Nambiar, Aditya Honda Chairman K.Nadim, Metro Vaartha Director K.S.Sasikumar, Circulation Head Mohan Babu, Marketing Head Shaju Baby, Mukkam Muhammadali etc spoke in the seminar. Executive director of Angels, Ajil Abdulla presented Basic Life Supporting System.

Renjit Menon, Head of Bridco and Bridco Faculty , took the classes related to the misuse of mobile phone. Many students of different schools in the city participated in this programme.
