New Delhi | Congress Wednesday constituted a 21-member Political Affairs Committee of Kerala Pradesh Congress comprising senior leaders, including former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
PCC Chief V M Sudheeran is the Chairman of the Committee which also has Ramesh Chennithala, K Muralidharan, P C Chacko, P J Kurien, K C Venugopal and Mullappally Ramachandran as members.
Congress, which was in power, lost in the Assembly election held earlier this year.
“Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the Political Affairs Committee of the Kerala Pradesh Congress with V M Sudheeran as its Chairman,” Party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a release.
Former Union Minister K V Thomas and K Murleedharan, son of former Chief Minister K Kanuarunakaran are also the members of the Committee.
Other members include M M Hassan, K C Joseph, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, M I Shanavas, K Sudhakaran, K C Venugopal, K Suresh, V D Sateeshan, Benny Behanan, Shanimol Osman, T N Pratapan, P C Vishnunath and M Liju.
