Kerala gains vital first innings lead against Chhattisgarh

Jamshedpur | Kerala gained vital first innings lead of 20 runs as they restricted Chhattisgarh to 187 runs in their Group C Ranji Trophy cricket match here Saturday.

Kerala had scored 207 all out in their first innings at the Keenan Stadium.

Chhattisgarh, who resumed batting on the third day at 179 for nine, were all out for 187 when Pankaj Rao was trapped lbw by Karaparambil Monish.

Kerala are in a strong position in the second innings, having scored 117 runs for the loss of just one wicket.
