Budding Indian designers to showcase at London Fashion Week

Mumbai | Five emerging designers are set showcase their collection at the London Fashion Week.

6Degree, a fashion talent and tech platform has joined hands with IMG Reliance to support budding Indian designers through the ‘International Fashion Showcase’ during the fashion event in London.

Antar – Agni by Ujjawal Dubey, Ikai by Ragini Ahuja, Ka – Sha by KarishmaShahani Khan, P.E.L.L.A by Priyanka Ella Lorena Lama and KaleekalBy Alan Alexander have been selected to present at the International Fashion Showcase.

Each of the collections is a unique blend of a decidedly Indian aesthetic and global appeal.

Designer Rohit Bal promoted this move that is aimed at opening new doors to promising Indian fashion designers.

“6Degree has always worked with emerging fashion talent and has enabled them to showcase their work on leading and global platforms, and propel their fashion careers further. We look forward to such continued associations that can take the Indian fashion story to global audiences,” Nikhil Hegde, CEO of 6Degree said in a statement.

Jaspreet Chandok, Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance added, “Through initiatives such as the International Fashion Showcase 2017 we will present India’s emerging talent on prestigious international platforms for global exposure.”
