Minimum Govt. pension to be hiked by Rs. 1100; I lakh free homes

Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala Government will build homes for 1 lakh people for free in the coming financial year. This was announced by Finance Minister Thomas Isaac presenting the state budget for the FY 2017-18.

Government has announced that it will end anarchy in the higher education sector.

5257 new medical posts will be created.

Rs. 500 crores will be allocated from KIDBI for renovation of schools.

All social security pension amounts will be hiked by Rs. 1100.

Rs. 100 crore earmarked for Smart city project.

Karunya scheme will be extended for one more year.

Rs. 900 crores allocated as ration subsidy.
